Broken Social Scene @ KCRW - Sometime Last Year

I always forget where I got this show, when it happened, etc, but it's without a doubt the best radio session, in-studio, or anything else of it's kind that I've ever heard. The thing with Broken Social Scene, and this is not a bad thing, but the thing is they like to bury their songs. They like to hide their melodies under 90 tracks of feedback, horns, strings, gibberish, muffled yelling, and anything else they can get a hold of. While any BSS'er will tell you this makes for a rewarding listening experience/exploration, it also makes hearing these songs in a bare setting that much more striking and effective.
