I'm somewhat an expert of the playlist, so I recognize a lucky shuffle when I see one, and boy was this morning's a lucky one. First, conditions were good - I woke up happy, the sun was shining but it wasn't too hot, it was breezy, the interstate was minimally crowded, and the music was fine. It was as if my little iPod knew all this, I think he was in a good mood too, because he didn't give me any poorly mixed live tracks, audiobook selections, or or anything like that like he often likes to (he's grumpy).
No, he gave me three great things: my favorite song in the world right now (Country Life), a bouncy and optimistic track from the Submarines, and that all-too-rare beast: a good post-Pinkerton Weezer song!

I love pork & beans a lot though.
Pork & Beans has been a pleasant surprise. Its a mix of blue and pinkerton. It made me happy when I finally heard the whole song.
I honestly can't get into Pinkerton.... it kind of grinds me, in a bad way.
