It's been a looooong day. A looooong day, and here it is 10:42 a.m. as I am writing this.
I was supposed to be up at 6:15 for work ... instead I awoke to my phone ringing at 7:20 am: my girlfriend wondering why I hadn't picked her up yet. After completing an extremely shortened five-minute morning ritual which consisted of finding the first clean shirt I could, literally getting in and out of the shower, and frantically grabbing for a bottle of water (which I decided would be left behind to save time after I dropped it on the way out of the house) ... Then I see that someone decided to park behind me: back in the house, still frantic (and sweating in the early morning 85 degree heat) I grab said person's keys and dash back out to said jeep to clear my exit ... the car won't start. Back into the house (still frantic) to grab a helper, I am eventually able to maneuver my way out of the driveway after a series of turns I wouldn't have attempted any other day. Now here I am, nearing 11 a.m. with no sleep, a headache, and the fresh taste of morning breath still lingering in my as yet un-brushed and un-flavored mouth.
